Lions Hill (grid reference SU106040) is a 42.9 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Dorset, notified in 1985.
Lions hill is a hill which is in the neighbourhood of Ashley Heath. Surrounding its area is a water meadow which is a SSI (scientific spot of interest) founded in 1985. The hill itself belongs to the heptilogical trust and they try to keep it heath land by burning rotton trees and cutting some down to keep up the population of rare species of lizards, insects and snake it harbours.
